Participation Terms & Refund Policy

This document outlines participation terms, fulfillment structure, and refund conditions for the Education Forward initiative.

Effective Date: March 17, 2026

1. Participation Model

Education Forward operates as a participation-based educational initiative, not a retail sales platform.

Participation provides access to:

  • Educational resources (digital and/or printed)

  • Community-based distribution of materials

  • Optional orientation sessions (where applicable)

Participation supports the development and distribution of educational materials and associated community awareness efforts.

2. Participation Confirmation

Upon completing participation:

  • A confirmation email will be issued

  • Digital resources (if included) will be made available

  • Participation details will be recorded for fulfillment and access purposes

Participants are responsible for ensuring their email information is accurate.

3. Digital Access

Where digital resources are included:

  • Access is provided upon confirmation through a designated portal or secure access method

  • Participants may be required to create or use login credentials to access materials

  • Access instructions will be provided in the confirmation email

Due to the nature of digital content:

  • Access is considered delivered once login credentials, access links, or portal entry has been provided

  • Education Forward is not responsible for failure to access materials due to:

    • Incorrect email information

    • Failure to follow access instructions

    • Technical limitations on the participant’s device

All participation involving digital access is considered final and non-refundable once access has been issued.

4. Printed Materials

Printed materials are made available through the Education Forward initiative and participating community distribution locations.

Participants:

  • Will be notified when materials are available for pickup

  • Must present a valid participation confirmation (digital or printed) to collect materials

Fulfillment Terms:

  • Printed materials are considered fulfilled once they have been made available for pickup at the designated location

  • Education Forward is not responsible for:

    • Failure to collect materials

    • Delays caused by participant scheduling, availability, or missed communications

    • Loss or damage after materials have been collected

Additional Notes:

  • Distribution locations operate independently and may have their own hours of operation

  • Participants are responsible for arranging pickup within a reasonable timeframe

5. Orientation Sessions

Where included, orientation sessions are provided as part of the Education Forward initiative and are intended to support practical understanding of home systems and maintenance planning.

Session Format

  • Standard sessions are conducted as guided 60-minute Zoom sessions

  • Session format (Zoom or in-home) is determined based on:

    • Location

    • Availability

    • Scope of the session

    • In-home sessions are not guaranteed and are offered at the discretion of Education Forward where appropriate

Scheduling Responsibilities

Participants are responsible for:

  • Scheduling their session using the provided process

  • Attending at the agreed time

  • Preparing for the session using provided materials (where applicable)

Scheduling Conditions

  • Sessions may be conducted via Zoom or in-home (where available)

  • In-home sessions may involve additional time and service considerations based on location and scope

Rescheduling & Attendance

  • Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate rescheduling requests

  • Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may result in forfeiture of the session

Additional Considerations

  • In-home sessions may involve additional time, travel, or service considerations

  • Any additional requirements will be communicated during scheduling

Non-Transferable Value

  • Orientation sessions are included as part of the educational participation

  • They do not carry a standalone refundable or transferable value

Participants are encouraged to review their materials prior to scheduling to ensure a focused and effective session.

Due to the nature of this initiative, which includes:

  • Immediate access to digital educational materials
