Guided Home System Orientation

Tier 3 participation includes the option to schedule a guided Home Maintenance Orientation Session.

How the Orientation Session Works

  • Available as a guided Zoom session or in-home (where available)

  • Session format (Zoom or in-home) will be confirmed based on availability and scheduling

  • In-home sessions may involve additional time and service considerations depending on location and scope, and will be confirmed during scheduling.

  • Focused on practical understanding and informed maintenance decision-making

Homeowners are encouraged to review their home and note any areas of uncertainty prior to scheduling a session.

This helps ensure key questions and areas of concern are addressed first, making the session more focused and effective.

$40 from each Tier 3 participation is directed to support the Alzheimer Society Sarnia-Lambton.

Designed for homeowners who want clarity, structure, and guided support.

Inside the Home Maintenance Guide & Planning System

The guide and planning resources provide a structured overview of common residential systems and key maintenance considerations, including:

  • Planning and preparation for home system awareness

  • Plumbing fixtures and common maintenance considerations

  • Electrical systems and safety devices

  • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems

  • Exterior maintenance awareness for roofs, gutters, and siding

  • Windows, doors, and exterior envelope considerations

  • Garage doors and mechanical components

  • Interior hardware, surfaces, and flooring awareness

The goal of this combined system is to provide a physical reference and a dedicated space to record key information—supporting organization, ongoing planning, and long-term continuity.
